I guess it just depends on how much you are willing to pay.Please buy a couple of books on this breed, as there is so much to learn and understand.I have two Chi's. They are fantastic little dogs. I wouldn't have any other breed. I also take them every where with me. Even shopping. I put them in proper doggy bags and off we go.They love company and will follow you about everywhere, especially if you only have the one. You cannot leave them alone as they are extremely sensitive and get lonely very easily. If you are going to be around for most the day that one is fine, however, if you will be leaving your dog during the day then you need to consider buying two, they need constant company.Good luck and I hope it works out for you and your new future pup.
