Looks Pomeranian to me. Look at his body shape and compare it to pure breed examples. That is often a bit of a give away.

Hmm, I think he has Jack Russel in him based on the face, but I don't know why I jumped to the conclusion that he might have Tibetan Spaniel in him...Oh! Maybe he has a bit of Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Dog in him! Heh, that would be a little odd to see, but I've seen a dog recently who was a pure bred Duck Tolling Dog, and she looked a little like your dog, only bigger. What makes you say that you know for a fact he has chihuahua? I would think he has more of a Jack Russell face, but then again, I can't see his face too well.

Yes he does look like a dachshund and chihuahua mix. Judge for yourself by this picture of a pure breed English cream dachshund. Take it from someone who raises the dachshund for a living. So who ever keeps telling you that he looks like a jack russel doesn't know there dogs i have also included a picture of a jack russel there is no resemblence what so ever. The color of the dog definately looks like the English cream dachshund, and as far as the ears being pointy that would be the chihuahua part. The Jack Russel doesn't have pointy ears or the color of your dog. Far as the long hair goes both the dachshund and the chihuahua comes with long or short. Oh and FYI the Jack Russel is no longer called that anymore. They are now called the Parson's Terrier. It was changed a few years ago due the imbreeding between them and the rat terrier. So now AKC wanted to keep the true breed Jack Russel apart from them, so that is when they changed it to the Parson's Terrier.
